2 lbs of salmon or fish steaks 2 tbsps butter or margarine 1/2 cup cider or apple juice
| 1 tsp salt 1/2 cup light cream 1 tbsp flour
| 1 4 oz can mushrooms - sliced and drained 2 tbsps chopped parsley

Melt butter in large fry pan, place fish in pan, add cider and salt, cover and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes or until fish flakes. Remove fish to platter and keep warm. Blend cream and flour to make smooth paste. Add mushrooms, parsley and add to liquid in pan. Cook until thick stirring constantly, pour over fish and serve.
