1 3 to 4 pound salmon or steelhead

Salt and pepper
Sprinkle cavity of salmon with salt and pepper and add I/3 of
onion slices. Place another 1/3 of onions in center at large
sheet of aluminium foil and on top of this place the Fish; top with
remaining onions. Wrap Foil around the fish and place in baking
pan in slow oven - 300 and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
