1 lb cheddar cheese
1 cup oysters
1 cup ale
1 tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp minced onion
1 chopped green pepper
Paprika and pepper to taste.

Melt the butter and cheese in a double boiler, stirring well. Add the onion, pepper, Worcestershire, ale, mustard and seasoning's, and finally the oysters. Stir until the mixture is smooth and thick. Serve over toast, or dip toast into mixture as with fondue.
