GREEN PEPPERS STUFFED WITH CRAB MEAT

4 seeded green peppers
1 medium onion minced
3/4 cup chopped celery
2 slices bacon, diced
1 cup soft bread crumbs
2 tbsps butter
1 cup crab meat
2 eggs slightly beaten
Salt and pepper to taste

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cook peppers in boiling water 5 minutes. Meanwhile cook onion, celery, bacon and bread crumbs in butter over low heat until onion is tender. Flake the crab meat, add eggs, onion mixture, salt and pepper. Fill peppers with mixture and bake 20 minutes.

Makes: 4 servings.
